Cantu Shea Butter Moisturizing Cream Shampoo and Conditioner

I’ve been using CANTU products for over two years but recently I’ve been consistently using their Cantu Shea Butter Moisturizing Cream Shampoo  and Conditioner and I’ve been loving it. So let me give you the details.

 

Shampoo:

Because of the moisturizing properties in this product my hair LOVES it! I find it so hard to find the right shampoos because I already suffer from dry scalp and most shampoos are drying. This shampoo however helps to moisturize as it gently cleanses your hair. Shea butter has really been working for me lately so I can assume that that’s what helps with moisturizing my hair when using this shampoo. Another great thing about this product is that it smells amazing! So not only does it leave your hair feeling clean and moisturized, it also leaves you hair smelling really good. The best part of it all is that is gives you a bang for your buck!!!! This product is super affordable, it retails for a little less than $5. The one complaint I have is that it stings the eyes, not sure what ingredient it is but of all the shampoos I’ve tried this is the only one that really irritates my eyes. Although it’s uncomfortable it is not the worst. Overall I give this product 4.5 out of 5.

 

Conditioner:

Just as the label describes the conditioner is also great for adding, restoring and maintaining moisture in your hair. Like its matching shampoo it too has the same nurturing properties from Shea butter. I really have to give it to Cantu when it comes to the fragrance of their entire product line and this conditioner is no different, it smells just as amazing as its shampoo. When it comes to affordability the entire Cantu line stretches your pennies, so the conditioner retails for about the same as its counter-part just under $5. The only thing I lack from this product is SLIP. As someone who uses conditioner in my pre-wash/ detangling routine, I cannot recommend this product to detangle. This product would be in my top 5 conditioners if only it had more slip. Overall I rate this conditioner 4 out of 5.
